Cocktail Hour
We had a cocktail hour in the cigar room at Andre's. We had canapes served which were amazing. I am hoping that Ashley took photos of this as we have no photos of the food or any of the cocktail hour apart from the one on the left, which shows how much everyone was enjoying eating and drinking! We ducked out for 10 minutes at the end of cocktail hour to have photos outside Monte Carlo by the fountain as the sun was setting.
Private dining room
Again, we were all enjoying ourselves so much that no one thought to take a photo of the whole table. Here is a quick glimpse of the table set up. I was extremely impressed with Andre's, they pulled out all the stops. I dropped off the favours and the seating plan the day before and they took care of everything else, even printing out menus with our names on them. We used a Bose speaker system with i pod for both the cocktail hour and the dinner. As it's such a small space this worked really well. There were 15 of us seated for dinner and we all sat on one big table which worked well. The food here was AMAZING!! Everyone kept raving about how beautiful everything was. The service was prompt and friendly. Chef Greg also came out at the end of the meal which was a nice touch.
Cake
This was made by the pastry chef in Andres and I was impressed, it was superb. I am not your usual type of bride, I was not at all concerned with the cake or my flowers. I sent Jana at Andre's a picture about a week and a half before the wedding and again they just took care of it!
Travis Allen-Elvis
The star of the show! He is FANTASTIC! and so good looking, which was the first thing I said to him!! He sang 4 songs 2 and a half with a microphone and one and a half without as his amplifier had a hissy hit.
This is him just singing Viva Las Vegas and clapping, we all joined in and kept singing when he forgot the words- it was great!!!
First Dance
Travis/Elvis sang 'Can't help falling in love' as our first dance, this is where his microphone cut out so everyone just started singing and he joined in. Happy memories!
Photos with Elvis
Travis stuck around for a while and took photos with everyone and was in great demand. My Dad was beside himself, as the whole trip he kept complaining that he hadn't seen one Elvis. A great surprise for everyone and I would totally recommend him.
Cigars and Cognac
After dinner and Elvis, we went back to the cigar room and had a trolley of cognacs and cigars which my DH had pre selected with help from their expert on our pre trip there. This was a great way to end off the evening at Andres. Love this photo of my MOH!
